Kevin Craik

Chair

Kevin has always worked in the finance field and was at Alzheimer Scotland for 10 years as Director of Finance until July 2021, before moving to his current role of Director of Finance and Operations at Myeloma UK. Kevin has been a member of our Board since the start in 2017 and was a Trustee of Caledonia Social Care from the start in 2017 until his election as Chair in 2022.

Derek Oliver

Managing Director

Derek has worked in social care for over 15 years, beginning at Alzheimer Scotland, where he held various roles, including Support Worker, Self-Directed Support (SDS) Advisor, Practice Team Leader, and Service Manager. He joined Caledonia Social Care in 2017 as a Regional Manager, playing a key role in developing and establishing the organisation in its early years. In 2018, Derek was appointed Managing Director.
 
Derek is passionate about providing person-centred, high-quality services that enable clients to live independently and stay connected to their communities, ensuring care that goes beyond basic home support. A strong advocate of Employee Ownership, Derek has spoken at several regional and national events on its benefits and the positive impact it has on company culture and performance.

Stuart Robertson

Operations Director

Stuart has worked in the social care environment for the last 18 years and qualified as a RMN in 2001. Taking on this exciting challenge with Caledonia Social Care, Stuart has worked in variety roles including Support Worker, Team Leader, Project Manager and Service Manager with Alzheimer Scotland.

Lynne McWilliams

Care at Home Service Manager

Lynne brings a diverse background in finance, retail, and marketing, along with direct experience as a Support Worker for individuals living with dementia in a care home setting. She joined Caledonia Social Care in 2023, driven by a passion to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives and to support frontline staff and families in delivering tailored care for their loved ones.

Loraine Stupart

Care at Home Service Manager

Loraine has worked in care since 2002. She joined Alzheimer Scotland in March 2005 then transferred over to Caledonia Social Care in 2017.  Loraine spent her time with Alzheimer Scotland as a support worker both in the community and in daycare, as well as a role as personal care trainer. Loraine moved into management when she transferred over to Caledonia Social Care, and she continues to deliver personal care training alongside her current role.

Lynsey Struthers

Care at Home Service Manager

Lynsey began her career with Alzheimer Scotland in 2010, where she held various roles including Personal Care Team Member, Support Worker, and Senior Social Care Worker before advancing to her current position as Care at Home Service Manager. Her experience across these roles has given her a comprehensive perspective on how Caledonia Social Care supports clients from all aspects of care.

With personal experience caring for a family member with Alzheimer’s, Lynsey is committed to helping others live with dignity and independence. She is dedicated to providing person-centred care that enhances the quality of life for those living with dementia and other challenges.

Victoria Hoolahan

Employee Elected Trustee

Victoria started with Alzheimer Scotland in 2007 before moving over to Caledonia Social Care in 2017. Victoria is our HR Officer and one of our Trustee’s, having been elected by her colleagues to represent them on the Company Employee Forum.
